How to Fight Stiff Shoulders with a Morning Routine

English Blog

Hello, my name is HIRO. Let’s spend a little time in the morning to create a habit to prevent stiff shoulders. Will you do it with me?

Even in your busy days, you should be able to refresh your shoulder area in just 5 minutes, and I want you to experience that.

First, start by stretching your body lightly instead of getting up immediately after waking up. The reason is that the body is often stiff after waking up from sleep, so by stretching, you get the blood flowing and make it easier to perform movements.

Then sit on the bed and fold your hands above your head. Then, stretch your arms out towards the ceiling. This movement gently stretches your shoulders and back and feels good.

Next is the neck rotation exercise. Perform clockwise and counterclockwise. Move slowly, five times each. If you move your neck too quickly, some people may get hurt. The key is to do it in a relaxed manner.

Finally, incorporate the shoulder blade rotation exercise. Shrug your shoulders so that they are close to your ears, and then rotate them backward in a wide circle. At first, it is okay if your arms seem to move! Once you have completed the backward rotation, do the same five times in the front as well. As you get used to it, your shoulder blades will relax and your shoulders will feel better!

Making a morning routine a habit will help you start your day lightly and is effective in preventing stiff shoulders.

I will continue to help people improve their stiff shoulders and smile at work, love, and childcare!
